I do a little bit of wood turning in my spare time and was thinking of expanding this a little to include turning some pieces with epoxy resin added. Does anyone know where I might be able to purchase some on the island?....I have looked at Amazon but understandably can't seem to find a supplier who delivers......

OK, locally you can buy all you need, including pigments and the resin itself from Bottomlinemarine down in Middle River. Ring Dean Bolton on 671671.

Sorted, I hope...

you need the right sort of epoxy resin,  the thin clear stuff used in resin castings that lets the air bubbles float to the top, the stuff used on boats and car bodies might be a little too viscous to allow the results you will be looking for.

There a couple of firms over here that do epoxy flooring/work tops. Thinking of arty wood stuff and seeing what they do, I would imagine it's the exact type of epoxy. They'll have pigment etc also.

Hi Pete, Did you order from the link that Katman sent? it says in the small print they don’t deliver over seas... If not, where did you end up sourcing from? I’m looking for epoxy resin myself :-)
