Well said.

There are lots of people I know who have come up against this system where someone is not considered to be "one of us", a phrase used by Margaret Thatcher I think for members of her own Cabinet. It's a form of self protection that the 'right people" stay in charge.

Group think - responsible for shite decisions in many circumstances.

OK. For what it's worth I'm going to try and explain why genomics is important in a ssRNA virus epidemic. No doubt it will end up being recited badly at a briefing, but, well, whatever. You read it he

Rachel has tried every which way to re-offer her services. This last tweet wasn't the first time she's reached out. Government has made it very clear they do not want her to be involved. I want h

I think you'll find most so called anti-government rhetoric is focused on government-stupidity and government-selfishness. In recent times - under Brown, Bell and now Quayle - all too many govern

So does Howie O'Clock still apply on Tuesdays and Thursdays?

If not, when is the generally accepted time to start drinking on these days?

I feel like I've been robbed.  I only just learned I could crack one open when they start the briefing!

Churchill:
"My rule of life prescribed as an absolutely sacred rite smoking cigars and also the drinking of alcohol before, after and if need be during all meals and in the intervals between them."

Topsy turvy MF. Our traditional stance has been that the CS are running the politicians, now it's the other way around! To suit the argument???

There's certainly a lot of anti-govt feeling on here and in the wider community, although I don't think that we are yet ready for Anarchy !

One only has to look at the mention of an MHK and the flood of MHK bashing that will follow. Mention of R ***, certain MHKs and vitriol spews forth faster than from that  Man on the Bus!!!

While there may be many expressing anti govt views, probably it is just 'habit' or copy catting others views which they could not analise their viewpoint of the person that led to their castigation?

It now turns out you're 83% immune to contracting the virus again once you've had it (according to the latest reports).

Roughly same as if you were vaccinated.

There's a significant amount of people that won't need jabbing then.

There are hundreds that could be - just for starters we don't need steam trains and museum staff.

MNH and NSC staff, for an example, haven't been furloughed because they've actually been redeployed on 111 and the Covid community line. Same as last time.

On Manx Radio just now. If you were in M&S at such a time, risk is low, but if you develop symptoms, self isolate and contact 111. Surely this is the same advice for everyone,  no matter what?

Putting out this message just confuses things.

And if they didn't put the message out you'd get everyone mouthing off about how they're hiding important information from the public. Can't bloody win sometimes.
