It’s mind numbingly boring to the point where you’ll fall asleep. I think you should surrender your driving license. You are a danger to others on the road.
Banker
Seems it was a young male on mountain bike who went over side at Bradda Glen & airlifted to Nobles. Perhaps the idiots on Facebook calling for the person to be arrested for being there may retract the cry’s but I doubt it

If you can't drive 14 miles at 40mph without falling asleep then perhaps you shouldn't be driving. You must be one of these people up there doing 45 with a half mile queue of cars behind you. I’ve probably overtaken you every day for the last 35 years 👍

And yet people are saying it was ok. That, the saying it was ok, is the sort of attitude that brings in speed limits. To be honest he hoofed it but the risks don’t seem to be that bad on reflection. Everyone seems to be looking for something to be angry about at the moment. Self evidently there was no actual accident.

I can't imagine why anyone should post as different personas, some are easily found out and this is known to them, so why bother? It is obvious from their past knowledge of the forums, that some new posters are not so? I cannot think of a reason to think of yourself Horatio as a new poster when it obvious that you are not so? I think you were banned a few weeks ago? Semitic remarks.? You came back somewhat contrite but have now slipped back into your usual, spring diatribe, of I want me me me to the fore!!! Debate? Yes Repetitive? Yes. Semitic remarks? I sincerely hope that is a typo

Well it’s funny as an Austrian guy called Frank posted up the exact same video which he claimed to have filmed from his own car.

It's not a great overtake, but the camera angle is distorting the danger somewhat. I'd have felt a bit of a twat had it been me doing that overtake, but it wasn't outright dangerous. I'd agree with your summary I'd say most people have overtaken and halfway through thought "shit I shouldn't have done that" and it's a learning experience There will be perfect people who have never done it and they're of course amazing There will be people who do it often and think "fuck it" and are arseholes And then there's everyone else who probably doesn't deserve to be hung drawn and quartered because someone filmed them doing it and publicly shamed them so everyone can sit around and feel good about themselves
snowman
If you’re from a country belonging to the European Economic Area (EEA) or Switzerland and you can prove you’ve been vaccinated, you will be exempt from testing and quarantine requirements on arrival into Iceland. You must be able to provide a proper vaccination certificate showing where, when and which vaccines were given. This must include the manufacturer and batch lot. (Will Tesco do the same?) Will the island do the same for visitors or residents who have travelled ? Edited March 7, 2021 by snowman

It was people like that that brought in the no overtaking rule in lockdown 1.

Anybody guess I was in two low risk locations last week, not a lot you can do really, we are all effectively isolating for at least another 2 weeks anyway.
