You mean re-checked for accuracy so that nobody like you can call them liars if there is any doubt over the test results? Makes sense really given the number of conspiracy idiots making up wild accusations on the back of them wanting to stick to telling the public only the actual verified figures that they have.

He likely told Tynwald that the figure may well be 108 once they’ve re-checked and ran to full close of business for testing which is around 6pm isn’t it?

OK. For what it's worth I'm going to try and explain why genomics is important in a ssRNA virus epidemic. No doubt it will end up being recited badly at a briefing, but, well, whatever. You read it he

Rachel has tried every which way to re-offer her services. This last tweet wasn't the first time she's reached out. Government has made it very clear they do not want her to be involved. I want h

There is a certain delicious irony whenever the unholy trinity refer to genomics as "no good at looking forwards and can only look backwards" when that perfectly describes themselves, GOV and the CS !

The total absence of any initiative, proactivity and focus to avoid potential problems followed by the shameless denials, knee jerk reactions and failures is truly amazing.

Glad all the MHKs are resigning in August. Time the backbench MHKs came out of the closet and got interviewed on what they would do to fix covid.

Most of them probably think Covid is some replacement for VHS.

There are still batches outstanding from yesterday, they are overwhelmed.  So how was there just 1 test awaiting results?

Just got the result, negative thankfully.

She is indeed a disgrace. Off-hand, rude, patronising, arrogant and unprofessional. And it isn't Moulton she's treating that way...it's us...he represents us.

He certainly does not represent me. I can’t imagine anyone I’d less want to represent me.

He keeps asking the same questions time and time again (“why did you not act earlier, blah blah blah?) and seems to forget he has already had an answer. Then he quotes  his imaginary friends who have been wronged by the Government.

Whatever any of us think about Paul Moulton, I was amazed to hear the reply from our head of public health ! I wasn't filled with confidence in her abilities before, but now ye gods!

Amusingly no reference to Moulton's little spat with Quayle, Ewart and the numbers appears in the Manx Radio Liveblog.

I just read the comments on fb for the 3fm live viewing of the briefing.

Wow.  No wonder this island is screwed, overwhelming majority of people on there congratulating the government on a job well done.

I am hoping if I look at some of thenother news sites there might be a different theme?

Was it Abe Lincoln who said ‘You can fool all of the people some of the time’? Well it seems you can fool a lot of the people most of the time. Johnson and his hopeless cohorts seem to be managing it in UK and perhaps Quayle, Ashford and Hettie are pulling the same stunt. Of course, just as Auntie Beeb is facilitating an easy ride for Johnson so too our media are jollying along with Quayle.
