He has & an investigation by the non executive directors at steam packet confirmed no rules broken by steam packet.

If what Woodward is saying is true & he seems to have evidence to prove it then someone needs to resign over it.

Have you read the conditions of the exemption?

Will Greenhow in his evidence to PAC said that he had taken advice from the AG on this but it was verbal.

I think there is a bus approaching, but who is driving and who is going to be chucked under it are the questions.

It's interesting how much advice has suddenly been "verbal"

I guess if it's not written down they can't make you hand it over

In the health service, there is a saying "if it isn't written down, it didn't happen".

They knew. They didn’t want  us to know they knew. So when it went wrong and they realised we knew they knew they said they didn’t know. But we know they knew. Line of Duty has got nothing on this lot.

This is exactly what happens in a well regulated society like we have on the Isle of Man.

Yup.

In the end it is the government's responsibility to draw up comprehensive and coherent and workable regulations and to see that they are enforced.  If they fail to even attempt this, then any mistakes that then happen are their fault.

That simply isn't true.

Things were perfectly fine for about 12 months.

There are two sides to this.  To believe anything else seems agenda driven.

Is he a buffoon of the highest order. Why does he think IOM should have gone against JVCI advice. Why does he think he is an expert. Why does he think it is incompetent to follow international health guidance.

Its his view, he is entitled to it.

Well the JCVI advice is only for the UK and if somewhere is in a different situation from the UK (as we were) then it's sensible to adapt policy for local circumstances.  As I've pointed out before New Zealand actually prioritised port and transport workers and their families for the vaccine programme because they didn't have Covid in the community, so you prioritised protecting those most likely to catch it.  But they made it clear that if there was a community problem they would switch the priorities.
