It is a week since the positive PCR’s From information I have 5th-8th Dec looks most likely dates. In June you could put pieces together to get 22nd-25th June with June 24th by far most likely initial seeding. No idea why Government being so secretive this time around. Thx pointer, you know firsthand they got off a plane?

But coven is simply a word that refers to a collection of individuals. a collection of individuals with similar interests or activities The doom coven is just a rag tag bunch of people who look for any negative angle they can find where Covid is concerned. Both Oxford and Cambridge dictionaries cite a group of witches as the primary definition. It’s language one would generally use to conjure up that sort of imagery.
Ramseyboi
I have heard of hospitality venues who were notified on the 7th that they had already had a possible omincron case on their premises in the days leading up to that. 1

No idea if both tests are done at same time. One who asked PCR test post becoming symptomatic implies to me traveled from CTA, did LFT was negative and then went on to develop symptoms. As said fact we not being told relevant dates, I assume means Government hopes this seeding event fizzles out (as is possible). Naturally other seeders will be introduced, and Omi wave is inevtiable. Numbnuts
All this speculation about speculation . Just chill guys , nothing we can discuss or think about is changing the scenario . Some people need to get a life and when they do try to enjoy it and stop spreading doom and despair. I've had a nice day today , met a friend for xmas lunch in Jaks and Covid wasn't mentioned once . Tomorrow is going to be the same hopefully. Commonsense is all that is needed and is something we can use positively and productively. Doom and gloom merchants , do one please , your not helping in anyway . BenFaifax , we have had words before regarding Covid. !! At some stage they're all going to have to stage a Jonestown Moonie-style mass suicide when the foretold Omicron Rapture fails to materialise. It takes a rather unique people to try to spread so much fear and bad news at once. If omicron isn't the major doomsday scenario they're all fortelling you do worry that they will be hosting some sort on Jonestown Moonie like mass suicide event over the Christmas period where they all go to Hango Hill and drink a poisoned cup of Horlicks at the stroke of midnight when the Reckoning clearly hasn't happened. In years to come academics will use the Isle of Man during Covid, along with New Zealand and Australia, as a case study on the effects on people of following a zero covid elimination strategy. I'm convinced there is going to be a lot of longterm damage done to these people as they seem to genuinely still believe that covid is avoidable and can somehow be controlled. A kind of PTSD I suppose after falling so deeply down the zero covid rabbit hole. 2

The thing is that Bonkers and Bum Gravy in particcular (and several more of the Twitter daily frothing at the mouth brigade) before covid were people you might think were educated and sensible. Now you're just witnessing peoples tangible meltdowns and observing them literally gibbering into the void of paranoia. Its sad how fears of an invisible virus literally turn some peoples brains into cottage cheese. PTSD or some other form of traumatic psycological event as you say.

In forum thread with COVID in title I assume means the topic of the day is COVID. COVID is what is it, press produced lot click bait over past 2 years, it either we found new wonder drug, or we all going to get put in a box. With speculation, it would not exist if we were just told the facts. Most people can cope with idea that we have a new virus in circulation and until we build up collection immunity it will cause disruption. Whether than view qualifies me as a "Doom and gloom merchant" I do not know, but I will continue anyway.
