IOM Covid removing restrictions

This here.

It amazes me the amount of people I see calling for tighter restrictions to save lives but in the next breath are quite happy to see people being thrown on the scrapheap and that won't have an impact on them, as if money just magically grows on trees.

It’s incredible ... no REALLY incredible.

The perpetuated fear peddled by the media & Government over the inevitable repercussions & deaths associated is genuinely mind blowing.

Sane people completely brainwashed, unable to see past a heavy flu.

Can you guys start a separate thread titled "Jersey is ace - oh no it isn't" and leave this one to a discussion on IOM and the coronavirus?

It's a safe place right now because of the Manx people, not the Manx politicians. None of us want to be "the person who brought it back" so we isolate and make sure we don't transmit the virus by bein

Ratio of admissions to deaths is not that different, testing is obviously out due to the massive capacity increase like just about everywhere in the world.    The current UK situation is impact

Well German bar owners have taken court action, can't see it being to long before the same starts happening in the UK

That's ace.

The sooner there is a full on societal break down the sooner government will be forced to wake up.

This case seems a bit odd, obviously some doubt if she’s pleaded not guilty

Very interesting scientist on TalkRadio this morning explaining that only around 28 - 30% of the U.K. population is susceptible to catching the virus & the measures are WAAAAAY over the top.

It's funny, isn't it, how people who are quick to dismiss the scientific consensus of hundreds of the top experts in a field as either irrelevant or an Evil Conspiracy, will gullibly repeat any old nonsense they happen to hear on TalkRadio if it happens to reassure them that they won't be affected by something because they are Special Snowflakes.

Anyone who knows anything about the course of this outbreak would be well aware of several cases where the percentage of a group infected was much higher than 30%.  87% from a two and a half hour choir practice in Washington State for example or over 50% on the aircraft carrier Charles de Gaulle (and that happened after anti-Covid precautions were introduced).  There will be some people who are immune (there always are to any disease) but not very many.  In any group some people will just be lucky of course, but the vast majority of people will be susceptible and we don't even know yet how long any protection from having the disease will last.

Marcia is as mad a a box of frogs, got religion too.

She adopts “pet” society failures, then when they don’t do as she thinks they should she then drops them or reports them to the police on some pretext or another.

The fact that’s she’s pleaded not guilty means nothing. She’d do that on principle, however strong the case is.

Shes got an issue with one of her tenants, but enters into the cottage she’s let to them. That probably breaches isolation.

She deserves everything she gets.

You didn’t read or just dismissed this Roger?

https://lockdownsceptics.org/what-sage-got-wrong/

Are you also dismissing suggestions that if you are under 75, contract Covid presenting symptoms, your chances of dying are 0.001%?

Yet Governments all over Europe are systematically plunging millions into the depths of poverty, denying patients urgent medical treatments, inflicting untold mental health issues on the most vulnerable & worse.

To really make you wonder, China, with a population of close to 1.5 billion people has only recorded 4,634 deaths and has two of the most densely populated cities in the world.

You don’t find all that a bit ‘off’?
