OK. For what it's worth I'm going to try and explain why genomics is important in a ssRNA virus epidemic. No doubt it will end up being recited badly at a briefing, but, well, whatever. You read it he

Rachel has tried every which way to re-offer her services. This last tweet wasn't the first time she's reached out. Government has made it very clear they do not want her to be involved. I want h

If we take the above scenario as gospel, Husband to Wife to Sister?

The sisters transmission would be unforeseen, innocent if the 'Wfe' did not know that she was infected.

A person (husband) isolating is required to separate from the household.

If he passed it to his wife, then a breech?

Person returned from uk. Passed it on to his wife, who passed it to her sister in another household.

So now entire households have to isolate so that sister to sister situation does not happen again.

But that was always a foreseeable situation. They accepted the risk up to now, so there must be another reason for change.

Any Government workers will be asking kids to stay in their houses so they get 2 weeks paid time off and perhaps work If they can from home.

the BBC guy was asking this question but Howie just dismissed it as their choice, just need a lot of teachers & medics off now isolating with students!!

Bit much to assume a breach of some sort to be honest.

As I understand it, if my wife was returning I could legally and fully within guidance for and get her from airport in our car, then return home and she isolate?  She could get a taxi?

Also seems stupid for a blanket “while household” rule.  A 1000sq ft hone with four people in it is a slightly different proposition to a 5000 ft home with two occupants

They thought it wouldn't happen.

A lot of people on MF and elsewhere pointed out that it would almost certainly happen.

It happened.

I wonder if the good Dr. Glover will proffer an opinion on this new state of affairs....?
