God forbid martial law comes into play, we’d have Major General, Wing Commander Rear Lord Admiral Watterson on the military payroll(s)

You are talking here about a bunch of self-centered shysters who voted to make the disabled pay for their parking whilst retaining free parking for themselves. Tells you all you need to know abo

Thanks Rob

Not sure. I can’t see Cregeen needing insurance in order to deliver emergency letters, or Moorhouse for a spot of emergency high risk teaching. I got the impression it was a real front line thing to do with high risk medical and emergency situations where if people aren’t paid they aren’t insured.

I can't think off hand of any  members  that are fire and rescue or ambulance service,.

so why not just keep to the health service, with  there being a time limit on these emergency acts.

I don't think "Jess from Isle of Man newspapers" will get such a glowing "Yes Jess" from Howard anymore at the press briefing and questions. He was kinda put on the spot today regarding some Ministers not taking the Tynwald pay increase. Maybe Jess asked the question to let him know she has grown up and is no more no Government sucker.

Apparently there is just one who isn't willing to refuse the pay rise, any bets?

‘No-questions-asked £7403 all Tynwald members receive’ - a stupid amount of taxpayer money to give to the already overpaid ‘politicians’ - some of which aren’t even elected by the people....

They'll get it back in future rises. Wonder if any of the CS will "decline"?

Just now, Donald Trumps said:

Will a brave politician stand up & say there is no money for a CSPS pay rise?

It's part of an agreed settlement from about 3yrs ago IIRC. Legal challenges, blah blah blah. Like pension reductions.

Plus they'll want to keep the biggest electorate sector onside. In the same way that they've continued to receive full pay during the stand down.
