Martin’s stance on Brexit was one thing but what he did at the start of lockdown to 40,000 people singles him out particularly for not being liked. I think they will struggle to build trade back up as a lot of people think what he did was despicable whether he sells cheap ale or not. He looks like a complete piss head anyway.

Why, what did he do, or not do?

Oh I agree but at that price it makes it 'more' than just average, not less.

Just a question of each to his own.

Around M-town the Asda stores stock local produce. Including beers. For example the excellent Sixex by Holt (the clue to the efficacy of this ale is in the name).

So when Doom Bar turns up in Morries you know things are going amiss smewhere...

He shoved his political agenda through our letterbox disguised as the "Staff Magazine" for starters.

He also treats his workers like shit...

This one I'm drinking right now and is absolutely wonderful

Hold on there la', the sun isn't over the yardarm yet.

Although I did look up the meaning of that phrase and some ships considered it meant it was time for an alcoholic drink once the sun had risen above the yardarm.

Society is so wuss these days. I went back to my work after a bit of a break and luchtime drinking had become very much frowned upon. Looking back, that pie and a pint for me dinner was about the only reason I went into work in the first place.

Its well over the yardarm for me. That 8% 'spicy tripel' was absolutely outstanding. I could get truly smashed on that.

Ha! As much as I like their MPA they couldn't brew anything like that. 12% kick in the face beer. It was absolutely tremendous.
