If only there were some sort of elected officials who could try and do something about it. Providing they aren’t busy shooting innocent animals of course.

I've been in Cornwall for 6 1/2 years, visited a bank just once.

  • Cheques paid in by post.
  • Cash from cash machine at ASDA or up to £50 cash available (cash back) when you purchase in store with a card.
  • Very rarely use cash anyway.
  • Bank manager contact via e-mail, works well.

Who really needs to visit a bank?

Contacting the bank manager via email isn't going to work when they close the bank down, genius.

There's still a manager somewhere.

But when they ask you to visit a branch for DD purposes 50 mile away what will you do then?

I'll be running a mobile cash collection service for all of the businesses affected from January 2021. Just deposit your days takings with me and I'll definitely be back in the morning with change for your tills etc.

Please send me a DM to book.

Howard announces that the closures are "unwelcome news" and that the Peel branch seemed to be "well-used" during a recent visit.

Best let the corporate headquarters know then, they may reverse the decision...

You'd think Boot & Harmer would've been deep in negotiations for months with IOMB

That it appears to have come as a surprise to Boot speaks volumes
