Looks like it’s survival of the fittest in these times. We have Sudanese migrants who are prepared to cross the Channel in a 3ft dingy using shovels are oars to get to the UK to work, but teachers who want the maximum amount of time off on full pay for doing next to bugger all.

Unions seem to be getting rather irate that government haven’t got money to pay them an extra 9% plus £1.75m lump sums on top of 2.75% they have already had this year. personally I think they are

I agree with you. Offered a deal and refused it. That funding was used during the pandemic to pay people for not working, including some teachers and to prop up businesses. Now they complain that th

It's quite obvious from your anti-teacher postings that you were never bright enough to be one. However, to say they do bugger all shows just what a nutjob you are. An angry one at that

I found this part of their statement a bit strange:

"Without proper investment in the island’s teachers and leaders, the world class education we all crave for our pupils cannot become a reality."

Strange in that if they're given more remuneration it will still be the same teachers trying to teach the same classes.

So why bother...?
