You're having a laugh! Because bad organisation always starts at the top. IOMG is the epitome of the expression "over managed and under led" and that's how they like it....

Blowing in the wind by now, Gladys. Along with any other truths about what goes on over here half the time, due to a total culture of unaccountability and responsibility within certainly, the upp

Contacts within the airport tell me that the director has issued an email to all airport staff basically exonerating the management team of any responsibility and slapping the blame firmly on Aurigny.

Why hasn't the airport director or deputy or person in charge of tourism given an official response? Oh forgot it's a weekend and they don't work for their £120k + packages then!!

Online subscription invariably works out cheaper. Mine does and can download it after 11pm for next day’s edition.

Hurts my eyes reading it online.

Busy drafting their excuses I expect.

Too many leaves in the flight path

Tarmac not warm enough

We were all at church.

Too busy doing a television series.

Can't open the airport before 2nd breakfast.

Etc.

Thanks that sort of validates what I heard. Unbelievable. I mean how difficult is it when you’re down to being paid to deal with 1 or 2 flights a day to make sure that you’re open when a flight is scheduled to land?

Is this airport providing a service to support the Island? Newspapers on a Sunday cannot arrive until 11.00. When people go out to buy a paper they usually buy something else in the shop. No papers this does not happen. Time it was fixed.

Do they get flown in on a Sunday?

Ive given up buying a Sunday paper since lockdown

'This is the Isle of Man and our public services are shit' would be an option too....but don't expect to see it.

All of the newspapers do online subscriptions.  Who the heck is still buying inky versions? They should put a massive environmental tax on that plane. It's completely unnecessary.

You can't wipe your arse on an ipad

One might wonder just how there's enough publicly notifiable work being generated that requires distribution to the greater world to justify the employment of all these people.

And if I was Mary Doyle I think I'd be keeping a low profile. Though she probably already is. When were there last any justifiable updates or releases re. the Prom?
