Those meetings don't actually have to decide anything or result in any actions, just their mere existence makes everything right and is sufficient. 4

Donald Trumps 5,536
It's now being left to the next general election for a new plan, it would seem Don't think we're going to hear from the four groups
Twitch 332
If this presentation summarises what they’ve achieved in 4 months we’re not in a good place for the future.
Donald Trumps 5,536
There'll be financial patching up along the way but it's pretty much all being left to the next government I feel

Well we don't know, but there's nothing to say it would be more than the normal - if they were going to transfer people to hide things, that would have been more effective in previous months. The good news is that the August figures haven't gone up as the various Covid schemes ended. The detailed report isn't out yet (I would have expected it today) and that may give us a better idea of the job market.

We’ve effectively had four years of wait and see whilst spending on stuff, and now when the wolf is at the door, we are quite content to leave it another 12 months. And if the inertia of the current administration in getting spooked up is repeated, it will be 2 years before we have anything like a plan together. By that time, the world will have moved on and the island will be left bobbing in the wake. I so wish there was a more positive outlook. The place deserves it.

Fairly certain Alf will stand as he wants top job he just missed last time. Depending on the make up of keys I think he has a good chance, however a good bet maybe Thomas if the old yes men of Cregeen, Boot & Harmer get emptied
