Flyovers and Underpasses ???

It would look good, but is unfortunately impractical on terrain and cost grounds - bricklayers are expensive.

But you could still see it happening.

Papers and drawings laid out over the desk in some comfy office, warm Danish pastries and hot coffee and the promise of a large lunch to follow.

All it needs is the signature and we're on our way.  The Rolls Royce of flyovers!

Yes DOI have done a structual report on the new flyover and here are the pictures to prove it.

Think you’ve all missed the point. The DOI have long had the ambition to create a connected up Douglas by pass or ring road. They daren’t actually call it that. This would be the final link, ironing o

It'll be more like the Austin Allegro (in brown) of flyovers

If DOI are involved it will end up as a flyunder and an overpass in the wrong place and single lane with traffic lights, calming measures and a four lane bicycle freeway with braille signs, wheelchair ramps and a public awareness area with a water garden drainage system and Chinese granite footpaths. Not forgetting charging points every 200 yards......sorry metres

Quite realistic designs, bet they’ll build them first and then realise a double decker bus won’t fit afterwards

Love Frank’s sense of humour.  But none of these will ever be needed. At best we could enhance th3 current access road and even that would be money wasted. ATEOTD nothing is needed. Time will tell. Quite soon.
