Amadeus 2,488
The Isle of Man Department of Infrastructure’s (DoI) key benchmark indicators have fallen across all areas according to a report commissioned by the IOM DoI itself and released today. Satisfaction with the condition of highways was the worst performing area with a satisfaction rating of just 28%, a fall from the already-low 34% satisfaction rating last year. https://frankdrives.com/government-survey-finds-department-of-infrastructure-performance-plunges/ In other news, have a guess how many potholes were reported to the DOI in the last two years. https://frankdrives.com/the-number-of-reported-potholes-in-the-last-two-years-is-truly-staggering/

I'm pretty sure the Derby Square/Road area has a lot of both - with quite a few arseholes living in the shit-holes that are the pot holes...often tripping over the potholes as they head home to their pot holes from the pub. Apple 939
Of course, sorry, forgot them. Tim Baker on radio at lunchtime. Indicates he is not responsible for Prom mess - was in play before he came into role.
Augustus 375
DOI is hopeless at ordinary maintenance.
the stinking enigma 11,506
Managers can't fix holes. Workers fix holes. The only real problem is that there are no workers left.

pongo 4,658
If you ask people whether they they are satisfied with anything, it's mostly only those who are perpetually dissatisfied who will bother to respond. Or those with too much time.

doc.fixit 2,902
Who'd have thought that the roads are in poor condition? I'll bet the DOI think the speed limits are logical as well!
NoTail 2,020
I suppose I might concede that I am 28% satisfied with the roads.
the stinking enigma 11,506
The only decent road we have is the sloc and Phil the gawne lost his job over it. I personally can't blame them for being a bit reluctant to fix any others. 1
buncha wankas 183
Taking a poll around DOI office is not representative. I can not comprehend that 28% of any part of Isle of Man residents would say they are satisfied with roads. Ffs
