If you're one of those likely to be invited for a booster shot you may be wondering why, what's the point, or you may have other questions, like what is it going to do for me? This thread is very informative. TLDR get it when you can.

See USA & some others are rolling out the jab to 5-11 year olds next whilst millions in Africa & elsewhere wait, not sure I would be keen on my 5 year old children having it but now 25 so no decision to make

Received my invitation to the party today. For anyone's perusal...

Good luck. Apparently the after effects are a little more extreme than for the first two.

I had my first flu jab in a few decades on Monday.

I got the one that’s not made from chickens’ eggs this time. I was warned that  might feel rough for two days.  It didn’t happen but I still gave myself permission to lie on the sofa watching Amazon Prime shit while eating toast and drinking tea. I think I might be feeling better now.

ETA - I just had to get off my arse to pick up a letter through the letter box. It’s for my booster! 😂

Thanks, it's a course of action I'll probably milk for 48 hours. My first jab was 72hours of hell and a further 24hours moping about white and silent. Nothing with the second bar the sore arm. GP is quite certain, from the symptoms described that what I came down with in February 2020 was the virus. Guesswork, really. Not bothered by the prospect of the booster though.

You can read your post code on that. Just pointing it out in case you hadn’t noticed.

Thanks, I'd noticed. Couldn't give a monkey's, to be honest. Lots of posters here know who I am.
