A costly jetski visit to the Isle of Man.

Being a sad bugger currently with time on my hands, I googled the spec of a Sea-Doo Spark 2 up. It appears you can get it with two engine specs, one quoted as having a fuel consumption of 7.34L per hour or a more powerful option with a quoted consumption of 9.0L per hour. The fuel capacity for either model is 30L.

I'd suggest that crossing the Irish Sea at that time of the year would see either engine at maximum consumption. Meaning that neither engine spec would have had enough fuel to make a 4.5hr journey, UNLESS he was carrying extra fuel somewhere. And a jetski novice at that.

It comes with an hour meter fitted so can't that be inspected to see if it's actually got 4 and a bit hours on the clock?

If he bought it second hand nobody would know what the reading was before the trip? The 4.5 hour claim was his own, I think?

Wasn't there someone came on this forum asking for it to be sold to pay for his Child Support or whatever in Bonnie Scotland.

If all that argy-bargy took place in 1886, how isn't that woman up before the beak? Spitting in someone's face is common assault, is it not? Surely it's affray?

I’d imagine it may be connected to not wanting to report to police because of the disruption at a busy time and not getting into police and licensing bad books.

Is it possible, I’ve no views, that that’s a pretty tame thing for the venue?

 I have sent myself to read all of the Sunday Times, including the sports pages, to make up for it!

Quiet week anticipated, then. If you want turgid sports coverage you could attempt the Torygraph
