quilp 11,306
By now, Bilbo, I'm done reporting to either Sure or Telecon. You either get a head-scratcher or someone out to convince me it's my fault. "have you tried switching it off and on again?" carries little traction anymore. Saying that, it's not too bad today. Mrs Q is working from home for a private bank, 2 hard-drives, her phone, my phone, Netflix/YouTube/Amazon, all on at the same time and there's no problem.

I see, this is out of the ordinary for me as normally everything is fine with no issues what so ever.
quilp 11,306
I understand little regarding broadband/wifi but presume that over-all load/demand is greater at different times of the day/week. Just asked next door and the three kids on their various devices, their Ma and Da both working from home say they had small intermittent dropouts all last week but no problems today. We're in Saddlestone, by the way...

BallaDoc 578
Our Manx Telecom internet has now been down for over 24 hours, the Manx Telecom website says under "network status", "there was a problem yesterday but our engineers have now fixed it" but clearly they haven't fixed it, at least not for us. I believe the Sure network is still up and running. Does anyone have any views about whether Sure or Manx Telecom are more reliable overall?
