So... you can't give an example then?

There are plenty of examples. But it's not my job to educate the unaware.

You may want to revise your question though. He doesn't necessarily have to invested something, but found a new (profitable) use for existing tech.

Such as transforming the world of electric vehicles, lowering the cost of launching shit into space, developing hyperloop technology.

There's a big list.

You mean buying a company already transforming the world of electric vehicles? Employing Tom Mueller to create a spacefairing firm?
Hyperloops have been proposed multiple times since the early 1900s.

I'm sorry, but Elon hasn't done anything that you seem to think he has. Calling someone unaware and then parroting Elon's own marketing hype as evidence is a bit daft.

Create... that would suggest the creation of something. Therefore something he's created.

It's ok to be a hater.

Employing someone else to do it and then claiming you did it isn't visionary. Nice cherry picking though.

Still, maybe if he does set up shop here he'll call me a pedo for not liking his ideas and I'll get a nice payout.

You mean the cars where wishbones are snapping after 30,000 miles? Or the paint issues? Or the failing infotainment displays? Or the door handles? Or the regular motor replacements? Or the panel gaps.

Teslas are fantastic pieces of technology, their engineering shows that they’ve not had the manufacturing and supply chain experience others have. They are getting better, but many would argue they’re not there yet.

Just watch Rich Rebuilds on YouTube to see some of the challenges in getting spares for them.

You're going to be very disappointed when you find out Queen Victoria didn't build the pier herself or that Isabard Brunel didn't build the bridge himself.

If you're referring to the Clifton suspension bridge, IKB was actually dead before construction started

Is anyone in here calling Queen Victoria a pier-based visionary?
