Exactly what I thought!

"You have no authority Jackie Weaver!"

They're in a predicament. Why call a vote of no confidence when there is nothing to call a vote of no confidence over? Has Carol taken advice or just did the common sense thing in this case of not replying. No case to answer sort of thing.

Except the person bitten, an employee, is still unable to return to work.  It is an odd one.

I don't think you need a reason for a no confidence vote - you just need to have lost confidence in someone.

Yes, a month later. I thought it odd too. Could only think of two reasons: they were savaged on an arm or hand and it's not healing well; they're claiming to be traumatised by the incident and having panic/anxiety attacks.

Maybe she keeps setting in on them whenever they enter the building.

That said I don't think it's a very big dog.  I had the rather surreal experience (as it happens when I was coming back from voting in the local election) of nearly being run over by her in her invalid carriage while she was talking loudly - I thought at first to me, but it turned out to be to this mutt in the pannier.

(No I hadn't voted for her).

Has Carol Quine been charged by Plod with a multitude of offences regarding this incident? Or will it end up a possible compo claim? The whole thing is so laughable and makes Castletown Commissioners a laughing stock.

You don't have to try very hard to make these commissioners a laughing stock !
