thommo2010
Someone was being interviewed and asked why they were protesting, they replied well nothing is being done. Surely the fact the government's are together talking about things is the start so why not wait and see what happens before protesting? TheTeapot
Because they already know that the only thing that will happen is bullshit imposed on the plebs and a continuing wealth transfer. 8

And the protests won't make a blind bit of difference, you could almost say they are doing the governments bidding by bringing all this to attention it means they will do something that will most likely be dome sort of tax. Some guy on the TV this morning was talking about a meat tax

James Blonde
Oh no, Daphne has done that thing were politicians hold up a piece of paper to the camera and then the Internet just uses it for it's own amusement for years to come.

The gradual break-up of the UK is being driven by sensible moderate middle-class and educated people and the young. It's about economics and a rejection of the kind of regressive tabloid tribalism which resulted in England forcing Brexit on the UK. (The SNP have also done a brilliant job of destroying the old-fashioned Labour Party in Scotland. And putting PR at the centre of future politics.) That is so muddled that my head hurts. Only bits of Scotland have a loyalist sub culture inhabited by the Thommos of this world. The rest of us are fine.
