You would think this is the case but she is held up as the messiah of the kilt cladded indynuts!

This is exactly right too, she got asked to be judged on her record last Scottish election and she was judged, found to be a failure, but still, she hangs on through her William Wallace like cries of freedom!

Both of you may or not be Scottish ( ie that Thommo bloke ) , but if you don’t live there then you don’t have a say in whether or not Scotland should be independent . That is a fact as you have to live there to have a vote on the issue. So as they say in Scotland wind your fucking necks in.

I have family and friends that still live in Scotland so yes while I might not have a vote in it I'm still interested in what happens.

To be honest there's not going to be a vote on independence anytime soon. They had their chance in 2014 and lost.

the problem with all this climate change shit is when governments ask for change they want OTHER countries to change while they just pay lip service, as they are all doing it nothing changes , just like those going on about too many cars on the roads, they mean too many other peoples cars.

I wonder if they have got there yet ?   Anyone know who actually went ?  Three would have been sufficient.

According to Andy Wint on Mannin Line earlier there are 6 people heading to Glasgow.

Assuming that's Daphne and 5 security guards.

Someone was asking about that and the reply was you do not need planning permission unless you live in a conservation area.    How true this is I don’t know but it would make sense.     My neighbour had panels put in and she reckoned it would pay for itself in about five years.    I expect it depends on individuals and the amount of electricity that is used.   That is what the salesman told her anyway 😃.

We’ve had one for 10 years (just for hot water). Saves us a tank of oil during the summer. My point is that if you’re on a train in the UK, you can’t fail to spot hundreds of new builds with panels on. Should be a no brainier over here.

i think it is going to be a planning requirement or may be one by now.??

Building control more likely when it comes to energy use/efficiency edicts etc.

Much like the uPVC v timber window frames in conservation areas, I'm sure planning will try to force the use of tiled PV units rather than big slabs to replace exisitng slate tiles in retrofits.
