Shake me up Judy
I thought the curtain was fully opened to reveal Johnson's 'Up Pompeii' government yesterday. Too much sleaze, lies, corruption, hypocrisy; and too many Boris' Babes. How long would you give him ?
Non-Believer
His descent into Peppa Pig waffle in front of the Captains of Industry at the CBI was surely the nadir? Bojo is a waffler, a blagger of the first order with a dubious record in veracity, honesty and honourable personal conduct of the type that his position would expect and it's becoming increasingly obvious. His days are surely limited? He has led from the front, a return to the days of Archer, Aitken and Hamilton and Tories running around fiddling and fornicating like the country squires they largely represent.

Not that the bumbling idiot has set the bar very high Frankly I think the House of Commons stupidity bar has never been set lower. The problem as I see it is that the Thatcher philosophy was basically "They don't vote tory so fuck 'em..." So for years now never mind the state of the nation tory supporters always always always vote with their wallets. Marcus Rashford pointed out child poverty was at record levels but tory supporters just think "So what, it's someone else's problem...." That's what happens when someone like Thatcher makes a virtue out of selfish greed... On newsnight last night Maitlis was really struggling with the concept of totally amoral narcissistic serial philanderer and inveterate liar Bozo Johnson trying to be a leader. I laughed. Nothing could be more alien to him.... 4

HeliX
Nothing sticks to BoJo because the people who like him couldn't give a toss what he does or how indefensible it is. Same as it was with Trump.

Gladys
I rather liked the news of Boris's new child last night, the newsreader said with a somewhat quizzical tone that this was his seventh child. I would bet that she was biting her tongue to add "that we know of". 1

code99
It has always been public knowledge that the man has no scruples, so what does it say about the UK public who voted for him? Either they have no scruples themselves or they have collectively become so complacent that they think that the UK will prosper even if it is led by a shameless clown. Max Power
Johnson has never understood that being prime minister is an actual job. He’s always thought it was like joining the Bullingdon club, and once you’ve been elected all you have to do is have a laugh and break things. 1
