Is Longworth now working at the Airport?

I downloaded the subtitles so that I didn't have to listen to the mind-numbing voice, but even so suicidal tendencies are brought to the fore,  e.g.

"but
we run silly events like agatha you do
uh
at other museums in america so we have
an island at war and we borrowed this um
model of a spitfire which had been used
as a prop in a film and where i said
someone rang up to say the plane had
crashed on the mountain and could we go
and see if the pilot was alright but it
was just a prop from a film um
and we've had like midsummer's evening
we have those that are more connected
with the gods and the vikings and go up
there and here they are sending their
wishes to the gods um so we had 150 i
think that night doing that but if we do
that we have to issue a notice to airmen
um so that the planes on the way to
america in an evening aren't confused by
these things"

The actual statement around the TT is;

"We're the home of the TT Races.  Which we're famous for and they're over a hundred years old.  And five to eight people kill themselves and about four to three thousand* come to watch each year with on street motorbike racing"

The way he says this makes it sound like we have people travel to the Isle of Man to watch people commit suicide...

*I can't quite make out if he says four to three thousand or forty three thousand.  I went with the most likely.

Could you tell me the origin of this video?

It’s from The Pennsylvania Trolley Museum’s Troll-ey-ology series.

Although if MTP or Peirot Lunniere had posted this statement on MF a few years ago

“Five to eight people kill themselves and 43,000 come to watch each year”.

Reactionaries like Twatlock and Amadeus would have called it trollology.

I just hope it’s not the new marketing slogan.

I switched off when he explained about the 7 kingdoms seen from the top of Snaefell.  England, Scotland, Wales, Southern Ireland, the Isle of Man  the Kingdom of Heaven and, of course that well known kingdom, Northern Ireland.

Dick.

I hope he doesn’t do tours.

I see he opened with the official  IOMG insignia, was this  cleared?

How is the inquiry into the crash going?

I caught that one as well...

I was tempted to let him off had he omitted the kingdom of heaven but he didn't.

It's worrying that he can't get these basics right.
