Annoymouse
It used to be 50mph which was bad enough, 40mph takes the biscuit, I’ve been doing a GPS verified 40mph and have been overtaken more times than I care to remember, so I’d say most people aren’t sticking to it anyway. Youaintseenme
I heard they have had a tip-off about COVID 22 - The revenge, and have put this in place in preparation for the next lockdown. Rumours are The May bank holiday weekend. Time will tell, but you should definitely stock up on sunflower oil which is quickly become the latest hard to get hold of item. Stay strong brothers. Alternatively it’s temporary while they do TT prep work, as widely publicised and verified by all the government roadwatch sites with a quick google. Alternatively it will be "so successful and popular" that it will be instated permanently.....

Using evidence in respect of RTI reductions gained from the lockdown speed restrictions perhaps?
