A) Is the result of a combination of Brexit, Covid, Putins war in the Ukraine and mismanagement by the Tory Party. B) I assume you have evidence of this? It sounds like a nice conspiracy theory but the UK Government under Johnson could have done much more to protect the UK and its inhabitants. Instead they delayed making key decisions, failed to listen to warnings and allowed hospitals to release patients to care homes without proper precautions. C) Having being sold a dream of 'sunlit uplands' by a bunch of charlatans and chancers. Johnson, so beloved for delivering Brexit, wasn't sure if he was for or against it until he saw a route to power. Remember he wrote two articles one pro brexit and one anti brexit. You may not like what PK is saying but Johnson and his Government were inept, deceitful and only looking after their own interests. Erm A) Why is it a global issue if Boris is to blame? B) I don't think the Chinese released it on purpose, that is conspiracy theory. Still 50:50 between the wet market or accidental lab leak in my opinion. The Chinese govt did however cover it up and deny for far too long. Tell me which countries did a good job managing the Pandemic. C) Sounds like a balanced argument to me. There were pros and cons to both sides. But better the devil you know and we should have probably stayed. You'll be telling me he's to blame for the Prom next.

Only a few years of Brexit to turn us from a G8 nation to an unstable emerging market nation. Well done Boris. What's an emerging market economy nowadays? I've done a lot of business out of Africa over the last 10 years, where many 'developing' countries have had growth rates 5-10%. It's only currnent global screw up that is hindering a lot of them now.

offshoremanxman
She is just so thick and gullible. I see she’s now put the disastrous price cap in which will cost the UK long billions rather than raise a wind fall tax on the people who are actually ripping the consumers off. She’s as thick as mince.

She’s as thick as mince. Quite. The oil and gas industries are going to make billions and billions in windfall profits over the next two years and Thick Lizzie is going to let them keep all of it. Instead Joe Public will be footing the bill. You have to wonder why...? Tories received £1.3m from fossil fuel interests and climate sceptics since 2019 Gifts and donations were from oil companies, airports, petrostates and climate-sceptic thinktanks From last year but I doubt if anything has changed in just 11 months... https://www.theguardian.com/politics/2021/oct/25/tories-received-13m-from-fossil-fuel-interests-and-climate-sceptics-since-2019

So she's fallen straight into their beds and the wealth transfer can continue. It is nothing more than overt self serving corruption by the Conservative Party.
