The Isle of Man where you can ...........................spend money on decrepit old junk in the name of "heritage"

Our public servants continue to spend a fortune on vanity projects at a time when the Island is in the biggest mess in living memory!!

Manx Electric Railway, Steam Railway, Horse Trams - all prioritised over healthcare and basic infrastructure such as roads and sewerage.

Complete and utter madness in my humble opinion!!

Context?

Well for what it’s worth, £5million+ if it actually keeps to budget and time, on a building, probably excluding exhibits. In the meantime, a great shortage of general key worker, general non key worker and social housing. In short, priority is given to a non important (except to heritage luvvies) old boat, whilst other important priorities are ignored.
