Clipper
Has anyone sailed on the new vessel Manxman? I'm curious as to how they found it. I've read and heard some not so good experiences on board. I think it rather unfair to tar it with a "bad brush". I personally haven't as of yet but are there any positives? PS I don't wish to get into a debate about the Ben not making her sailing the other day.

war baby
Because the relevant sea trials had not been completed for high winds. (Seems amazing!). My grandson came over to see me on a rare visit. On the Heysham to IOM leg he said it was like being in a Travelodge. OK, but nothing special. On the return journey in a 'violent storm' - that's official - the poor lad up chucked for the first time ever on a boat. He loathed and hated every minute of it, unsurprisingly. Fortunately I have no intention of setting foot on it.
