Mobile Phone Service Provider Logo...

Recommended Posts

I have a Nokia 6230i mobile phone and I have added a picture to the screensaver! :)

How do I get rid of the service providers "MANX PRONTO" logo from the screen as it totally ruins the picture?

Thanks for any help.

You could edit the operator logo to a blank one I guess. You'd need a cable and software though.

Why would you be bothered? How often do you think you'll spend looking at your phone? Even when you're using it, you wont be looking at it.

To cut a long story short ans, I took a stunning picture of a girl on my phone, I applied it to my Nokia 6230i as a screensaver and low and behold her "best bits" are covered with the text MANX PRONTO...

Now you know why I want shut of the MANX flippin PRONTO text

Thanks also manxgurl but Nokia will not let you disable the text, but apparently you have to download a blank operator logo or something like that

I've found a couple of post on the net about this, I have not tried any so I can't comment on if they work.

If you want to access via you WAP phone:

goto www.jhonny.org/wap

You would need to enter an id#

enter 1 and press OK

Next it will show a comment as blank operator logo

Click on it and you'd receive an operator logo

Click on save.

Or

1. make sure your phone is wap capable ( check with your service provider) and that you have enough credits.

2. on the menu, go to services( the icon is a globe) click that.

3. scroll down and click the option "go to address"

4. type in "http://www.thenokiazone.com/wap/blank-logo.nol" and click enter

5.your phone will prompt you to save the operator logo. click yes/ok

Hope it helps
