zephyr Posted June 25, 2004 Posted June 25, 2004 The sun was shining the temperature was high There wasn’t a cloud to darken the sky With towel and sandwiches I was ready to go I’d even brought my new ‘Speedos’ I lay upon the crystalline sand A bottle of sun oil close to my hand I fell asleep what a mistake I lay there for hours I started to bake Pale skin turned from white to cerise Bath me in calamine lotion give me some release Oh the pain the agony my bald spot’s glowing too At least during winter I’m a fetching shade of blue I feel like I’m on fire the sun’s rays I did absorb Is it just me or can anyone else smell roast pork? My freckles have all joined up I’ve got quite a lot They make my skin resemble a giant dot to dot The pain it is going I’m getting back some feeling Oh the final indignation my skin has started peeling I’m looking like a leper the skin it falls in strips Just as well my body hair has protected my male bits I can’t stand the summer I can’t wait until it’s gone I might be freezing in winter but at least I’ve got my skin on
