Guest Rox Posted August 23, 2004 Posted August 23, 2004 Obviously it's not as big as yours but I love it and thank you <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Yes. I think we both know whose back passage is the larger. Even so - I think I still might have a job fitting in two settees and an armchair. :-)
simon Posted August 24, 2004 Posted August 24, 2004 When you do find it. Starve it for a week, or so, in a empty bucket (with a few of its friends and relatives) .... then fry them slowly in garlic and butter with a few mushrooms. Serve on a bed of green salad, sprinkled with fresh chopped parsley. Eat it with some nice warm fresh bread. Mmmmm. Assuming it isn't a slug. EDIT: call it "lunch"
Guest Rox Posted August 24, 2004 Posted August 24, 2004 I already found it. I trod on it last night. I felt something cold and slimy under my feet. I thought it might be Vader but no, it was only a slug. He's gone now. I put him in the garden and he's made his way home I think.
Bill Posters Posted August 24, 2004 Posted August 24, 2004 I thought it might be Vader You've just 'brought up' some memories.
Tee Posted August 24, 2004 Posted August 24, 2004 I thought it might be Vader You've just 'brought up' some memories. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> you've had vader under you feet too Bill ?
Bill Posters Posted August 24, 2004 Posted August 24, 2004 Now, come on. I don't want to see the words 'had' and 'Vader' in the same sentence ever again
MrsTrellisfromNorthWales Posted August 26, 2004 Posted August 26, 2004 I found a slug climbing up my front door last night. It was about four feet high. Have slugs developed a sense of adventure? Boldly to go where no slug has gone before . . .
Guest Rox Posted August 26, 2004 Posted August 26, 2004 You either need to stop taking hallucinogens or one of your brother's legs must have called round to see you.
Stavros Posted August 26, 2004 Posted August 26, 2004 I found a slug climbing up my front door last night. It was about four feet high. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> That's a very tall slug! Stav.
MrsTrellisfromNorthWales Posted August 26, 2004 Posted August 26, 2004 You know what I meant! It had attained an altitude of four feet above the doorstep. I knocked if off with my house keys.
Stavros Posted August 26, 2004 Posted August 26, 2004 I knocked if off with my house keys. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> So that's why they call it a five lever mortice deadlock! Stav.
MrsTrellisfromNorthWales Posted August 26, 2004 Posted August 26, 2004 My house keys weren't on "kill". They were on "stun".
