I feel my mind unfold and my soul laid bare,

For you opened the door and you found me in there,

Once my place where only I could be,

But now filled with thoughts of only you and me.

 

My mind has unfolded and my soul is all laid bare,

Yet for once I've no fear as I'm assured of your care,

That part of me I missed was in your heart I found,

There's new rhythm of you and me and now my heart beats out that sound.

 

I want to return all you've given me,

Let you know it's safe for you to let me see,

That special secret place where only you reside,

You have nothing you need fear and nothing you need hide,

Because it seems to me we've found that our places are not different,

Both there, just couldn't find what we found in an instant,

We've waited and we've wondered, looking here and there,

Until we turned that corner and our love was everywhere.

 

Our minds are unfolded and our souls are laid all bare,

Filled with true devotion, true love and true care,

You can look into my soul and there's a part of you, you'll see,

I can gaze deep into yours and I'm reflected back at me.
