Speckled Frost Posted August 26, 2004 Posted August 26, 2004 She'd have a hell of a lot of competition in Ramsey. I don't think she's carried out her market research thoroughly enough.

purrrrrrrrrrry Posted August 26, 2004 Posted August 26, 2004 I love my job too. 99% of the time. If for 1% of the time I end up ranting about ppl who DON'T know what the job entails, it is because those who forgot what it was all about, a long, long time ago, should let us who DO know what IT is all about, just get on with our fecking jobs. You'd have thought this was a simple equation - if f*cking only!
Bill Posters Posted August 26, 2004 Posted August 26, 2004 They should make all management do a 'back to the floor' thing once a year. It would help to remind them about what their 'core business' was. (Thats assuming that the management have ever been on the shop floor - vertically, I mean )

Cret Posted August 27, 2004 Posted August 27, 2004 My job's not bad. I like all the people I work with and quite enjoy bits of my work (coding) although some of it can be boring (testing). I've done much less enjoyable work so I'm grateful that I have a job that I don't dislike and work with good people. I'd be 10 times happier if it paid enough for me to afford to buy my own place though.
