RC-Drift.com Posted August 27, 2004 Posted August 27, 2004 As mentioned in a previous post: Biggest fear -> potholing + getting stuck + batteries going flat on your light + the sound of running water = NIGHTMARE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Observer Posted August 27, 2004 Posted August 27, 2004 Getting killed, or dying suddenly before my children are old enough to stand on their own two feet. Death doesn't bother me (so long as it doesn't involve lots of pain!!) but dying whilst my children still need me is quite terrifying.
RC-Drift.com Posted August 27, 2004 Author Posted August 27, 2004 Makes you realise what really is important in life when you see it like that
Observer Posted August 27, 2004 Posted August 27, 2004 Doh! Didn't mean to sound mega depressing or anything. Think I just killed your thread - sorry!
RC-Drift.com Posted August 27, 2004 Author Posted August 27, 2004 I didn't see it as depressing at all, material things like a new car, posh clothes etc. are really meaningless, if you could give up work today and never have to think about money, you would savour every day with your family Unfortunately in the real world we give our lives to someone else for their financial benefit at the expense of ours
monkey_magic Posted August 27, 2004 Posted August 27, 2004 People finding out I have sexual fantasies involving animals. Especially donkeys.
Speckled Frost Posted August 27, 2004 Posted August 27, 2004 The TV getting stuck on ITV. Seeing large groups of teenagers armed with mobile phones enter the cinema. Being started on by a girl - how do you get out of that?
puddy Posted August 27, 2004 Posted August 27, 2004 Quicksand. A deserted beach, no mobile phone and getting that sinking feeling, slowly feeling the sand tighten around my legs and pull me down, being too scared to even scream, feeling my heart beating so strong I think it's moved into my mouth, realising this is the pathetic meaningless end I'm going to have but being completely helpless, thinking that I will never be found, all the thoughts which would go through your mind during such a hopeless situation, I'd probably be dead through panic before I even went under. Or the same thing happening to someone I love, or just about any living thing at all. I've had nightmares about it many times. Funnily enough, I get a thrill out of being stuck in really small places, just aslong as there's no quicksand about (but that's best saved for another thread).
Speckled Frost Posted August 27, 2004 Posted August 27, 2004 Yeah, but there's always a bit of vine lying within reach in these situations Puddy. I've seen it in films.
RC-Drift.com Posted August 27, 2004 Author Posted August 27, 2004 You must have heard the one about the guy throwing a lump of meat into a grinder but as he chucked it over his shoulder it got caught on his coat and he went in too - that sends shivers down my spine Or worse still, the guy who supposedly had his head hacked off in Iraq a month or so ago, he was bound up and held down and couldn't even defend himself - now that image still lingers and I go cold!
ans Posted August 27, 2004 Posted August 27, 2004 People finding out I have sexual fantasies involving animals. Especially donkeys. We've seen your SA posting history. We know.
