Thought I posted this poem/song on here but must of been on manxonline so will post here anyways

 

 

 

You are hiding from reality

Behind your mask of invisibility

Scared to show what you're feeling

From the truth you're always reeling

Someone may like you, someone may care

But from the safety of your world, you don't see them there.

 

You've been once bitten and now you're shy

So each night you sit down and cry

Wanting to change the way you're feeling

Hoping time will do it's healing.

 

Years have past and still your waiting

The fear of hurt keeps you hesitating

Someone to hold you, someone who cares

Someone to love, to answer your prayers

To free you from anguish and all that you fear

Someone to be there and wont disappear.

Sharing your pain and keeping you strong
