I dont understand why this is suddenly newsworthy. There's been loads of his work published since his death.

Just read Children of Hurin - basically an excerpt from the Silmarillion with some " appendices and notes " thrown in. Hardly new work and a waste of money in my opinion. Certainly doesn't justify the full hardback price.
