Liberalis
I recall some time ago a post about webcams on the island but I cant seem to find it, and I just thought I would add a couple more if they had not been covered by any other post. Hugs
Can this be one of those topics that's 'stuck' at the top? There are 100 odd people who have used it and perhaps more 'browsers' would if they saw them.

Addie
I see this is now "pinned". Could whoever pinned this please explain - in plain English - what this means? I have tried search, help and my assistant etc. I can't seem to locate the information. If it's not already explained on the site could someone take an extra second to explain what they're doing when they're doing it? If it is already explained somewhere, I apologise. Ripsaw
Don't panic Addie, I had to ask too... If you open active topics, the threads are listed in order of the newest to be updated at the top. If you open the main page and look at the threads as they are layed out, "pining" the topic means that it will be first on the list irrespective of when the information was entered. * Example * You can see that 3 threads have been pinned, and therefore appear above the general topics. Pining a thread is very usefull for announcements, or important information that the forum folk don't wish to see burried on page 27 etc.

Mission
OMG, I'll have to wave from now on when I walk over the swing bridge! Heh, I like the way the shipyard and the quay (port) try to outdo each other every Christmas with their lights on cranes, etc., I'll have to take some piccies and post them up in teh gallery. Stavros
What time do you walk over the bridge? Stav.
Mission
Heh, I was going to say £5 to the first person that spots me walking over it! Would have to be in the morning though, as I doubt you'd see me at night. Ooo, let's say 8:00 a.m. on Monday shall we? Failing that, Tuesday, Wednesday etc., (not Saturday though, the car gets parked in town then).
WilDDog
Is that £5.00 every morning? Easy money.
Mission
Heh no, £5 to the first person to spot me (on the cam) and post the pic up. You didn't think it would be that easy did you?
Stavros
The cam picture looks the same as last night. Is it still dark in Ramsey or doesn't the cam update every 30 seconds like it says? Stav.
