zephyr Posted July 4, 2004 Posted July 4, 2004 I loved you as the flowers love the rain I didn’t want much especially this pain All I asked was fealty one love true to me All I wanted was happiness A golden world where we could be I never thought that love would hurt Quite as much as this I only wanted happiness A total state of bliss You took my heart and broke it Like a child will break a toy You walked all over my honour My masculinity you tried to destroy Now I am a sullen man Full of hatred and harm Now I am a single man Not an atom left of my charm There is no-one to care for me No-one to hold me near No-one to banish the darkness To take away my fear I want to start life over To start afresh, anew I want to start life over But it will never be with you Somehow I will survive this pain The heartache that I feel One day I will be in love again With someone who makes me feel real
Guest Rox Posted July 4, 2004 Posted July 4, 2004 Given your Beelzebub offering, I could hardly bear to read this one. I read it through very narrowed eyes I can tell you. I was so sure it would be a graphic description of some poor sod's ruptured frenulum!
Guest Rox Posted July 5, 2004 Posted July 5, 2004 Apologies - I should also have said - it's a very pretty poem - heartfelt I'm sure.
zephyr Posted July 5, 2004 Author Posted July 5, 2004 Mmm maybe Beelzebub shouldn't have been posted. I was listening to 'Cradle of Filth' at the time, I think that was mistake. I know the one to make me live again is out there somewhere, I just was never good at hide and seek. What's needed is sometheing like the big hand in the lottery ads, finger points, big booming voice says "THIS ONE FOR YOU"
purrrrrrrrrrry Posted July 5, 2004 Posted July 5, 2004 I know the one to make me live again is out there somewhere The only thing you need to make you live again is INSIDE you already.
