the mo beats experience Posted July 12, 2004 Posted July 12, 2004 Money does bring you happiness............. Does it buggery! not itself, but the comfort of knowing that everything's taken care of financially, has to make you content at least, surely. not being able to pay for something or bills or whatever, makes you stressed and unhappy, so by balance, being able to should make you happy. its not the be all and end all, but it does make the world go round! A ginna????? was a reference to your strawberry blonde locks, oh fair maiden.
Stavros Posted July 12, 2004 Posted July 12, 2004 Money can't buy happiness... but it sure makes misery easier to live with! The love of money is the root of all evil and every woman needs roots To feel rich, count the things you have that money can't buy I've taken a vow of poverty....to annoy me...send money Every time we make ends meet...someone moves the end Stav.
Minnie Posted July 12, 2004 Posted July 12, 2004 Money does bring you happiness.............it also brings you nice clothes, expensive jewellery, fab hols, fast sporty car (although I would stick to the speed limit......oops that's another thread!) etc etc. And it's even better when it's some rich blokes money and you don't have to go out and earn it yourself! <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I was only joking, I ain't got a pot to p*ss in but I'm very happy!!! I'm not a materialistic, gold digging, money grabbing b*tch
Minnie Posted July 12, 2004 Posted July 12, 2004 Although, any rich, old blokes on their last legs out there who may be reading this, email me.............minniethemoneygrabbinbitch@hotmail.com
puddy Posted July 12, 2004 Posted July 12, 2004 I had a boyfriend with money once and to quote Ferris Bueller, "He's so tight, if I stuck a lump of coal up his ass it would turn into a diamond". For example, in the early days he wanted to charge me rent for a spending a couple of nights a week round at his. As time went on, he asked me to move in..........................as his lodger! Yes, complete with my own contract and spare room. And who ever thought romance is dead! His money meant more to him than any girl ever will and it was never gonna make him the sex god I wanted when I first saw his motorbike (yes, I can be shallow too sometimes). I did come to my senses one day and left him - He tried to win me back by saying he'd bought a car for my birthday present (brand spanking new aswell). I can't be bought. I haven't been near a man with money since, they think they don't have to try. A complete waste of my time.

I'm not a materialistic, gold digging, money grabbing b*tch <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Didn't really think you were Minnie. Much as I love all the stuff I have (especially seeing as I now have approx £10 to last me a fortnight until payday!), it's only stuff that's fun to play with if you're in a good mood anyway, and whilst I never thought I'd apprciate things like this I tend to get more pleasure from something like a gorgeous sunset, or a nice walk these days. I am quite materialistic at times but I'd still say that the best things in life are free. Cheesy though that may sound. For example, in the early days he wanted to charge me rent for a spending a couple of nights a week round at his Can't believe people like that are actually for real Puddy! You sound like you really don't have too much luck with the ones you pick. Better luck in future!
Tee Posted July 12, 2004 Posted July 12, 2004 'll marry you, cook for you, clean for you, look after you, Tee...........if you're filthy rich that is! If I was filthy rich wouldn't it just be easier to hire a maid to do all that?
