The pianist literally moved the piano with the passion of his playing and in an intimate venue it was one of the most powerful pieces of music I've ever experienced. This recording only partially catches it, but does give some flavour to it. One unusual piece of music. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZdFmo8Tz_FY On 3/4/2018 at 10:58 AM, Shake me up Judy said: I notice that he's got no sheet music. He must have learnt the piece by heart Found a better version - Though this guy is still too restrained ... in a small space with the piano literally moving it was simply an incredible sound as the codant and discordant merged, synthesised and separated again! Shake me up Judy Posted March 16, 2020 Posted March 16, 2020 Jimi's Little Wing is a beautiful rock classic but the version I prefer is from Eric Clapton's Rainbow Concert of 1973. Many people wouldn't get this I know but the sound of Eric and Ronnie Wood soloing on this makes it the one. 2 Quote

TheTeapot Posted March 20, 2020 Posted March 20, 2020 How about some DOOM metal? This is a cover of a king crimson track, don't listen with laptop speakers, use something with a bit of bass 1 Quote

Chinahand Posted March 20, 2020 Posted March 20, 2020 @teapot I liked that. Nicely constrained in its genre. Quote
