I saw this played live a few weeks ago and was just bowled over by it.  The pianist literally moved the piano with the passion of his playing and in an intimate venue it was one of the most powerful pieces of music I've ever experienced.  This recording only partially catches it, but does give some flavour to it.  One unusual piece of music.

I notice that he's got no sheet music. He must have learnt the piece by heart ;)

Found a better version -

Though this guy is still too restrained ... in a small space with the piano literally moving it was simply an incredible sound as the codant and discordant merged, synthesised and separated again!

Jimi's Little Wing is a beautiful rock classic but the version I prefer is from Eric Clapton's Rainbow Concert of 1973. Many people wouldn't get this I know but the sound of Eric and Ronnie Wood soloing on this makes it the one.
