Keigmeister Posted March 31, 2011 Posted March 31, 2011 Hello, I was wondering if anyone may know any antique book sellers or specialists? I am after two books. The first is called the Seed of Isaac by Rev Rex Kissack which details the Kissack families in the Isle of Man and the second is an original Manx Bible from around 1823. Thank you
Quackers Posted April 3, 2011 Posted April 3, 2011 There was a book shop in Peel that used to stock old books, they might have it. Also we have found a few rare books on various subjects at antiques fares over here. The last one we attended was in Peel Cathedral. Not sure who the supplier was though.
Addie Posted April 3, 2011 Posted April 3, 2011 It may even be useful to contact The Lexicon book shop in Strand Street. They used to be able to search for things like that.

reiver85 Posted August 30, 2011 Posted August 30, 2011 Have you tried St Pauls (?) bookshop in Ramsey? (I'm not 100% sure that that's actually the name of it.) They've a small but very good collection of old Manx books. Hope that helps. Good luck!
