Mission Posted April 18, 2011 Posted April 18, 2011 Is this new phenomenon something that I alone am experiencing or does everyone else get it whenever they read text on a forum, Facebook etc? I can understand it on sites like Wiki or commercial wehsites where it may well be intentional but by fook, it's annoying everywhere else when you definitely haven't intended to make a specific word a hyperlink. Was this done for the septics, so that they could become better edumacated about the big wide world?
Mission Posted April 18, 2011 Author Posted April 18, 2011 Haha, it's even popped one on that post of mine !
Mission Posted April 18, 2011 Author Posted April 18, 2011 Interesting, maybe it is just me then, either that or you're just being you.

The Old Git Posted April 19, 2011 Posted April 19, 2011 Can't see any either. I wonder what's on your system?
Mutley Posted April 20, 2011 Posted April 20, 2011 Do you use Xmarks plugin with Firefox? I think that uses Smartlinks but you can switch it off.
Mission Posted April 20, 2011 Author Posted April 20, 2011 I've just checked FF and there was indeed an option to enable Smartlinks, which I have now unchecked. You learn something new every day! Thanks for the replies folks.
