j2bad Posted June 2, 2011 Posted June 2, 2011 Up until recently purchasing a .im domain was about £50 per year where as a .com has been around £10 and a .co.uk £3 per annum. As such most companies wanted a .com but settled for a .co.uk if unavailable as .im seemed a rip off. My pet hate is companies who use mydomain-iom.com or perhaps even worse, a big insurance company who use mydomain-iom.co.im which seems rather pointless. All the same isleofmannews.co.uk is pretty ropey and it being a .im ain't going to change that.
