Military targets you say? If American destroyers hadn't assisted in bringing down the Iranian ordnance the civilian death toll could have been significant. For a regime that has consistently and repeatedly denied any connection with Hizbollah in the past, Iran seems to be remarkably keen to get involved.

Er, Israel occupies the Shebaa Farms, which yes Lebanon claims is part of Lebanon. That's where Lebanon fired rockets after Oct 7th, which resulted in Israel """"defending"""" itself by firing 8000 of them.

As I understand it the area is part of Syria that was included in the Israeli occupation of the strategic Golan Heights.

So what sized area is the Shebaa farms?

ETA 14 square miles!
