In case anyone is interested, the monthly 'interesting vehicle' meet at the motor museum is this coming Sunday at 10am. Apparently, irrespective of how it's publicized, it's aimed at all enthusiasts not just classics - and not just those who own such a vehicle.

Subject to the weather (and that is a big caveat!) and the car agreeing start, I'm planning on going up for a nosey and a coffee - it would be good to see some other MF petrol heads there.

If you do make it, what car should I be looking out for Micky?

We really do need to come up with an MF signal or greeting.

The forecast is looking cr*p so it's a long-shot.

It's a red one which isn't used to our tropical climate!

I read it as in 1960's era, it would be a bit specific to be a 60 something's car club (although I guess a lot of the classic car mob could very well fall within that age range, but probably not so many with 80's and 90's classics (unless they're reliving their mid life crisis all over again).

In other news, shmee is on the boat, so that's definitely happening tomorrow. :)

Bit wild up there, was fun trying to stand still enough to get some snaps - got the money shot though smile.png

Not a bad turnout really, supercars and retro cars and a half decent number of people inside as well. The breakfast was lovely too.

Din't spot Overdose there and don't know what you look like doc. Not sure if Micky was thee or not as there was the little red MG as you say, along with the red Rover (but I believe the guy that owns the Rover is called Steve).

Despite the crappy weather it was a great morning out, I'm £50 poorer now though. :(
