woolley Posted August 9, 2016 Posted August 9, 2016 Do we have to do this every year Woolley? It's called believing in your team. Ahh. OK, Declan. I thought it was a realistic forecast. (Now there's a hostage to fortune with a maturity date of next May)
Declan Posted August 9, 2016 Posted August 9, 2016 It's more of an unfortunate personality trait than an actual illness. Like getting too loud when they are drunk, liking Yes, or still finding Viz funny in 2016. If they are generally nice people we should tolerate this eccentricity, not indulge it.
woolley Posted August 9, 2016 Posted August 9, 2016 If you are a true lover of the game you will appreciate a quality match whichever teams are serving it up. It's healthy for people to banter about supporting their teams and at one time fans of both sides used to stand together on the terraces and do just that, then go for a drink together afterwards. I am just about old enough to remember doing that. I don't know where all of the tribal war shit comes from, I really don't. Just retards.
the stinking enigma Posted August 9, 2016 Posted August 9, 2016 i don't forsee too many matches of quality at the theatre of dreams this season
Declan Posted August 9, 2016 Posted August 9, 2016 A bit of banter is ok, but there are some debates that are frankly bizarre especially on-line, where both sides are using arcane information and points (a manager's alleged affair, for example, or convoluted calculations on spending) to win an argument that can never be won because each side's opinion is a conviction based on faith and belief rather than facts.
woolley Posted August 9, 2016 Posted August 9, 2016 Yeah, well if he's from Crumpsall that explains a lot.
woolley Posted August 9, 2016 Posted August 9, 2016 Stones to Man City for 48m! Crackers That sounds about as shrewd as Balotelli.
the stinking enigma Posted August 9, 2016 Posted August 9, 2016 or letting pogba go for a couple of mill
woolley Posted August 9, 2016 Posted August 9, 2016 Indeed. That was Fergie making a point. Money no object.
woolley Posted August 9, 2016 Posted August 9, 2016 Yep. But it was Fergie who got rid of Pogba. http://www.skysports.com/football/news/11667/8483163/paul-pogba-says-he-left-manchester-united-because-of-sir-alex-ferguson
