As the season opens, Hamilton must be favourite to win yet another championship.  He led both Friday practice sessions in Australia with some comfort given to Ferrari as they closed the gap during FP2.

I strongly dislike the appearance of the new halo, spoiling any remaining chance of a decent looking F1 car.  The on-board TV pictures are ruined by the ugly bar over the centre of vision.  I may take to watching football instead.

it would be nice if just one race outcome wasn't based on tyres.......

It would be good to see one set of tyres and one tank of fuel. WTF has gone wrong here? It is meant be about the car, not tyre tech. and fuel filling speed.

This latest stuff is shit and will 100% kill the sport.

Shanghai:  This was the best F1 race for some time, it had everything, many skilful overtakes and some very ill-judged ones, changes of leader, and last lap tension. The win was well deserved and probably his best drive to date.  He really is starting to show his full talent.  The race was a bit of a slow burner, the action begins around lap 20.  If you have not seen it, find it on catch-up.  I will not spoil it by giving the result, but let’s have your views when you have seen it.
