I don't like football and never watch it but one of the youngsters showed me some highlights. The goal that Welsh player scored looked like a fluke to me but is that Liverpool goalkeeper genuinely a professional? Was he first choice or was someone injured?

Klopp's wife would have been a better first choice. If nothing else, it has enforced the need for a decent keeper. If he keeps faith with either of the two clowns we currently have, it could cost him his job.

Overhead kicks should be a free kick to the opposition and a booking if the player is wearing coloured boots.

Even if Bale manages 1 in 10 lower down the pyramid it’s 1 in a 1000 and it’s never the showboating git that has to fetch the ball from the car park, no it’s  the opposing goalkeeper or a defender.

Agree.  99% of the time they miss-kick or miss the goal.  It's like when you pull off an amazing fluke on the pool table and then state "Played for - and got!"
