the stinking enigma Posted June 25, 2018 Posted June 25, 2018 If VAR is to continue in football they are going to have to bring in some sort of cricket like review system. The ref can go to it as he wants but each team get 2 reviews. If it's right they keep them, if it's wrong they lose one. Otherwise football will just descend into an upmarket give us a clue.
TheTeapot Posted June 25, 2018 Posted June 25, 2018 It works well enough in rugby, the ref is miked up as well so you hear him ask the video guy 'is there any reason i can't award that try' and stuff. I strongly dislike it in football so far.

La Colombe Posted June 28, 2018 Author Posted June 28, 2018 1938 was the last time the Germans went out at this stage. If I owned a chip shop I'd be slightly nervous right now.
TheTeapot Posted June 28, 2018 Posted June 28, 2018 Dier and Delph as an international midfield. Henderson is better than them on his own.

I don't watch or follow football these days, it's too girlie and limp. I am not English so have no loyalty to their team. I do love to see people and teams brought down to earth though.
